Check out the fat loot that Jane sent me. Cuban delicacies and more! If that isn’t at least one assload I don’t know what is.

you will always be the same
There was/is something interesting that I forgot to share. Denial maybe. My biomom, BioMom, is coming for Easter. More about BioMom here. To recap, I met BioMom when I was 25, it was a good thing all in all. I am glad we have connected, but I have a tough time negotiating the relationship at times. She would like to see me more, which is understandable. We have a nice time when we are together, it
cry on demand
Big weekend chez jennui. Friday night we went for dinner at Kelsey’s, washed the car and then I watched Practical Magic on teevee. I think I am nodding off even writing about it. Saturday I spent time with my pregnant friend Klara and Mark went to the big stamp show in town. I bought some new underwear! Black, cotton, sensible. Saturday night Mark and I watched In the Bedroom, which was very good. Sunday my usual headache became a little stronger so I was a lay-about for most of the day apart from some laundry. Are you still with me?
I did get paid on Friday so the temptation is there to blow all my money on chicks and booze, but I refrained. The head doesn’t feel too badly today which is a good thing. Tonight I have to go buy some more ovulation predictor strips! and milk.
I am a bit tired today because I think the cats have Spring fever. They were up early this morning, nibbling my elbow, tapping my nose with a little furry paw, stepping all over me, particularly lingering on my eye sockets, and knocking things off of the bedside table. They usually wait for Mark’s alarm before annoying us for food, but this morning they were apparently so hungry, they could not wait or they might DIE or waste away to nothing but fur and bones. Little buggers.
Let the excitement that is the workweek begin!

1) To Amy for sending me Girl Guide cookies that we can’t get here in the tundra
2) To Gimmy for being such a wonderful photographer. Go and look now!
3) To anyone that has their own domain – switch to movetable type so you don’t have to rely on lame comment services that are always down!
