Oh god. I just sat down to write this post and realized that my BioMom cleaned up my “office” while we were in Las Vegas and I cannot find the complex web of sticky notes that contain parts of posts I am writing. Fuckity. This happened last year and she tossed my iPod warranty info and box. Claims she didn’t, but oh well. Glad I haven’t needed it. I know the post-its looked cryptic and weird, but I needed them! OK, I cannot go on until I find them or know they are lost.
Two nuggets first. I had a huge huge fight with my mother that has left me tremendously hurt and angry. This has made is difficult to write about pretty much anything else. Also, new post up on BlogHer. Recycle!!

I am sitting here watching my 4th Law and Order and an ad comes for glucose meters. The meters that diabetics use to monitor their sugar levels. Anyhow, at the end of the ad they excitedly tell us that they are NOW available in crowd pleasing colours. I know when I poke myself with a teeny needle, the pleasing colour really helps.
I just took a lovely shower in our huge GLASS shower with TWO SHOWER HEADS! It was a long shower because I decided to shave my legs, and peoples, it took a long time considering the last time i did it.
Drinking a glass of the free wine and feeling tipsy. Not as tipsy as the one and a half foot margarita Erin made me drink yesterday. It was a great visit, albeit short. Once again I am extremely thankful for the great people I have met on the interwebs. I would love to meet all of y’all.

We are so much in love here. Erin has fantastic boobs.

I have boobies. They are kind of big and heavy and obtrusive and annoying. But my boobs feel left out in Vegas. Boobs are everywhere. Low cut tops, tube tops, too tight tops, bikini tops. I am all for women’s right to choose. If you want to parade your tatas around for all to see, good on ya’. Sometimes they are nice to look at. Sometimes though, they are not. The display of mammaries makes me feel all buttoned up and prudish. It i clear I need to step it up a notch. I think there is a Fredricks of Hollywood at the Fashion show mall down the strip. I would also wear shorts, but 1) i am over 35 and shorts on me do not look appropriate, and 2) leg shaving.
It is freakin’ hot here. Like need to tell you that. A balmy 103F. Erin should be here soon! I have beer in an ice bucket. Also, I am composing this post in my ginch.

Let me be the billionth person to complain about the Sopranos finale. Thank goodness Big Love has started to cleanse my palate of mobsters for polygamists.
I am a wee frantic getting ready for Vegas. I feel like I have to complete EVERY chore I have before I go somewhere. Mark has reminded me that we are going for less than 5 days and buying a soaker hose and buying an foot rest for his office can wait until next week. BUT CAN IT? Okay, yes it can. Most importantly I need to have wardrobe and makeup and waxing taken care of. I am waxing my eyebrows you pervs.
I have more plants to plant, I know I know. It has been rainy for days and I will be peeved if at least that chore isn’t done before I go. You can’t plant in mud.
Our garage is pretty much done except we have decided to go for acrylic stucco and not vinyl siding, so that will take longer. It will also probably have to wait until we get back. Oh the humanity!

Man, I have a few posts with a pin on them, in my head. I hate seeing how long it has been since I have written. Why keep it all bottled up in my jumbled 500 channels and nothing on brain, when I could be sharing it with you??
I am preoccupied with going to Vegas next week. Mark is again playing in the World Series of Poker this year. We went last year in late July and got roasted in the heat, well done, not rare, as I like it. Last year we also had to fly through Salt Lake City and got a chance to see the Armstrong family on the way back home. This year we get a direct flight. It is nice, but I will miss seeing my friends.

This year I will get a chance to meet Erin, from Out of Character. Who is funny as fuck. Seriously, I am going to wear some special absorbent underwear to soak up the extra pee. We will have a whirl wind 24 hour love affair while Mark is waiting for the flop. Erin said no strippers though, so I am stumped. I guess we could play slots, drink, mock people, and call it a night. Perhaps I will wear something cleavage bearing. That alone should be fabulous. I am so lucky to be able to meet some of y’all now and again.

And, and. They demolished the garage and laid the concrete driveway and path. YaY! The progress on the much wanted deck is stalled. hmpf. It has also been freakin’ hot with no AC. I have been sleeping in the basement. Today, it is quite cool. Never happy with the weather, are we?

Then, there is the garden. I STILL have plants to plant. The heat and lets face it, laziness, have preventing me from finishing. That, and watching old shirtless guys work in my back yard is not my favourite thing to do. I feel weird.
